Adasa Ganpati Temple, located in the Nagpur district of Maharashtra, is an ancient and revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Shri Ganesh Mandir Adasa Adasa, a small village about 45 kms from Nagpur is famous for the ancient temple complex situated on a hillock close to the village. It is the site of several prehistoric temples including the popular Ganesh temple that attracts numerous pilgrims. Considered to be more than 4,000 years old, these ancient temples draw big crowds on religious occasions.

The temple precincts cover about ten hectares of land that house the small temples, including that of Hanuman in reclining and standing position. Other deities in these olden shrines include Trimbakeshwar, Bairambuva, Shakti and Bhuyarbaba. The temple of Mahadeo with three lingas is considered a miraculous spot.

The main temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha is big with the statue standing 12 feet tall and 7 feet wide, made of a monolithic stone. The area has been developed to include facilities for visitors along with cordons to organize the crowds on special days. People enjoy picnicking in the surrounding areas enjoying the view after paying obeisance to the deities in the complex.

महाराष्ट के नागपुर शहर से लगभग 45 किमी दूर स्थित अदासा गणेश मंदिर बहोत प्रसिद्द है। यह प्राचीन मंदिर एक छोटी सी पहाड़ी की चोटी पर स्थित है और लगभग 200 मीटर की एक छोटी सी ट्रेक या 80-90 सीढ़ियों के माध्यम से मंदिर तक पहुंचा जा सकता है। समय के साथ धीरे धीरे यह लोग बसते गए और अब यहाँ एक छोटा सा गांव बन गया है।

शहर से दूर प्रकृति के बिच बसा यह एक शांति पूर्ण स्थान है, जहा दोस्तों और परिवार के साथ अच्छा समय बिताया जा सकता है। फोटोग्राफी के लिए यह स्थान बहोत उपयुक्त है।

मंदिर का इतिहास

धार्मिक ग्रंथो और इतिहासकारो के अनुसार यह मंदिर करीब 4000 साल पुराना माना जाता है। इसमें भगवान गणेश की एक सुंदर मूर्ति विराजित है। अदासा मंदिर में विराजमान भगवान गणेश की प्रतिमा 12 फीट लंबी और 7 फीट चौड़ी है और इसका निर्माण एक अखंड पत्थर से हुआ है। कुछ लोगों का मानना है कि यह मूर्ति अपने आप विकसित हुई है। इस चमत्कारी मंदिर के ख्याति दूर-दूर तक फैली हुई है, यहाँ आकर दर्शन करने मात्र से मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती है। इस प्राचीन मंदिर को विदर्भ के आठ अष्ट-विनायकों में से एक माना जाता है।

पौरान्विक कथाओं में वर्णन

धार्मिक ग्रन्थ वामन पुराण के अनुसार जब वामन रूप में भगवान विष्णु राजा बलि के पास पहुंचने से पहले उन्होंने आदासा गांव के इसी स्थान पर भगवान गणेश की आराधना की थी। तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर भगवान गणेश ने शमि के वृक्ष से प्रकट होकर भगवान वामन को दर्शन देकर आशीर्वाद दिया। इसलिए गणपति को यहां शमी गणेश के नाम से भी पुकारा जाने लगा। वसंत पंचमी पर भगवान गणेश उत्सव मनाया जाता है। उस समय देशभर से हजारों श्रद्धालु यहां दर्शन करने आते हैं।

वास्तुकला और मंदिर

यह मंदिर वास्तुकला की हेमाडपंथी शैली का अनुसरण करता है। भगवान गणेश मंदिर के बगल में, भगवान शिव को समर्पित एक अन्य मंदिर है जिसे त्रंबकेश्वर के नाम से जाना जाता है। इस मंदिर में बहोत ही दुर्लभ शिवलिंग विरजमान है। यह शिवलिंग यह पुनः निर्माण और विस्तार के दौरान खुदाई करते समय प्राप्त हुई, जिसे विराजित कर एक मंदिर का निर्माण किया गया।

अदासा मंदिर का महत्व

यह मंदिर भगवान गणेश को समर्पित है और इस मंदिर से सबकी आस्था जुडी हुई है। कहा जाता है की इस मंदिर में आकर भगवान के दर्शन और पूजा करने से भगवान गणेश सरे कष्ट दूर कर देते है। यह मंदिर भक्तों की मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण करने के लिए बहोत प्रसिद्द है।

अन्य छोटे मंदिर

अदासा में मुख्य गणेश मंदिर के अलावा इस परिसर में लगभग 20 अन्य मंदिर भी है, जो अलग अलग देवी देवताओ को समर्पित है। यहाँ एक दुर्गा मंदिर, एक कालभैरव मंदिर, हनुमान मंदिर आदि शामिल है। यह मंदिर परिसर लगभग 10 हेक्टर के क्षेत्र में एक पहाड़ी पर फैला हुआ है।

मेले और समारोह का आयोजन

सैकड़ो सालों से यहाँ पौष के महीने के दौरान, गाँव में एक बड़े मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है। अदासा गणेश मंदिर में श्री गणेश जयंती, गणेश चतुर्थी और अंगारक संकष्टी चतुर्थी के दौरान हजारों की संख्या में भक्त दूर दूर से आते है।

मंदिर परिसर में दुकाने

यहाँ मंदिर परिसर के अनेक दुकान है जहां भगवान गणेश को चढ़ाने के लिए पूजन सामग्री मिलती है। जैसे नारियल, फूल, माला, अबीर, सिंदूर और दूर्वा आदि है। बच्चों के लिए झूले लगे हैं। इस परिसर में छोटी छोटी दुकाने भी जहाँ खाने पिने की चीजे मिलती है।

मंदिर परिसर में सुविधा

यह स्थान एक पहाड़ी पर स्थित है और इसकी देखभाल महारष्ट्र टूरिज्म के द्वारा की जाती है। यहाँ पार्किंग की पूर्ण सुविधा है, साथ ही पानी, टॉयलेट आदि। यहाँ का परिसर बहोत ही साफसूत्रा रहता है जहाँ खुले वातावण में घूम सकते है।

अदासा का प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य

अदासा एक छोटा और सूंदर धार्मिक स्थल है। यह स्थान एक पहाड़ी पर निर्मित है, जहाँ से प्रकृति का सूंदर नजारा देखने मिलता है। इस स्थान का वातावरण बहोत हराभरा रहता है। शाम का मौसम बहोत ही सुहावना होता है। परिवार और दोस्तों के साथ यहाँ अच्छा समय बिताया जा सकता है।

यह मंदिर सप्ताह के सभी दिन खुला रहता है। सुबह 6 बजे से लेकर शाम के 6 बजे तक।
