The best beach in Kannur district.The beach is located about 4 km from puthiyangadi town. Parking fee is Rs.20. Similarly, tickets are required to enter the beach. Tickets are for those above 5 years of age. Rs. 25 per person and Rs. 50 for cameras. If you want to go through the pine trees through the side instead of the main entrance, you can enter without taking a ticket. There is a park along with the beach here. Dressing room and toilet facilities are available in the park. All along the beach side are pine trees. The walk through the pine trees is cool. The park has several places for children to play. Then a swing is tied to a pine tree. There are some shops in the park but I am told that nothing is being stolen from there. An ice cream with MRP 30 is said to be 40 rupees. There are occasional plastic bins in the park that you can deposit in. There is also seating in the park. As soon as you go to the beach, you can see the mountain on the right side. The mountain standing next to the sea is beautiful to see. There is a creek that joins the sea and has kayaking facilities. There is no other such beautiful beach in Kannur district. Festivals are held here. Horse riding is available here. This is a very crowded beach in the evenings. You can see the sea full of boats if you stop here. The park is a good one.but the road towards it is worst one.if fix it,it's a good one. Rides in park, which means the best place to spent a lazy evening. This attraction has recently helped in getting huge crowd, but along with it came plastic.It is near to the choottad beach.Beach is filled with plastic bottles, even in sea water, one can find water bottle floating. May be Beach management team need to take care of this plastic issue. Another problem is damaged roads and parking issue. Roads to this place is worst, it is literally off road for vehicles.
