All the behaviour of staff and priests is so bad. Everyone is in the aim of looting people. The temple is now fully renovated, but the staff behaviour should be improved.Great ambience. Read moreYou can call it the heaven of nature & God lovers. Even if you don't believe in God, you must visit this place, its so beautiful, you won't regret your decision. Even I don't believe in God but I went there in bike trip. I enjoyed the journey, and the destination is damn beautiful. The temple situated on top of a hill. Beside the temple the Mahanadi River just passes away. The place surrounded by Hills, trees, and one half of the surrounding by the river, its a damn beautiful place. As I said I don't believe in God but I went to explore the place and I absolutely loved it. Old age people may find it difficult to climb up the stairs, but for the mid age and the younger ones it would proof to be a great spot.
Disclaimer :- when you enter the 200-300 meters surrounding of the temple, you're already in the peripherals of the temple, and you'll see pandits all around going here and there. You may not have seem them but there having there eyes on you like a target. When you're about to enter the temple, suddenly you'll see few pandits from nowhere surround you and treat you like a superstar. Of course anyone would like it, and that's the point where you stuck my Friend. They will take you along with them throughout the temple. Will do some simple rituals, speak out some chants, will give some paduka to have, apply sindura on your forehead, and there you go....give them 100 or even more. You're already served without your own will, and consent, and now you're going to pay for it. Even if you'll say I don't have change, don't worry they're rich enuff to give you change, but you can't leave them epty handed. So keep this thing in mind...it would be good for you. I knew this thing before so I didn't fall of their trick, I simply denied for all those rituals what they're about to do for me. Even after that I had to give them few rupees but that was okay, quite minimal. You must take care of this. Except this...the place is Soooo beautiful that even this problem is nothing in front of that. I'm upto visit this place again....
