Adumalleshwara Mini Zoo, located about 7 kilometers from Chitradurga town, offers visitors a modest yet enjoyable experience. Established in 1987, this 8.5-hectare zoo is nestled within the Jogimatti sanctuary and is managed by the Zoo Authority of Karnataka.

While the collection is limited, the facility provides a pleasant environment for a short visit, especially for families with children. The presence of a children's play area enhances its appeal as a picnic spot.
Adjacent to the zoo is the Adumalleshwara Temple, a cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. A notable feature of the temple is a perennial stream that flows through the mouth of a Nandi statue, adding to the site's charm.
Visitors should note that amenities around the zoo are limited, so it's advisable to carry water and snacks. The zoo operates from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with Tuesdays being a holiday.
