“Asare Beach Park is truly a hidden gem near Kadike Beach!” What impressed me most is the way this place was created – it used to be a garbage dump, but thanks to the efforts of local volunteers it has been beautifully transformed into a clean and welcoming beach park.
The park has a calm, family-friendly atmosphere. There are huts, swings, and slides for kids, along with plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the sea breeze. The statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose adds a nice cultural touch. It’s not a commercialized or crowded place, which makes it even more peaceful for an evening outing.
A lot of love and community spirit has gone into making this park. Big respect to the volunteers who made it possible without any government support. If you are visiting Udupi and want a quiet, well-maintained spot by the beach, Asare Beach Park is definitely...
Read moreNice and calm beach.. Nice place to visit when you feel like it's beach time. You can reach it by two roads... One is from cut road beside Annappa industry and other from Kadike beach. Now they have made a nice pawer road connecting Kadike and Aasare beach. Nice round shaped construction with seating arrangements and a hut type sitting place connected.. Slides and swings for children adds more attraction... Altogether it's awesome place, thanks to local youngsters and community clubs who made it possible with their own money without any government...
Read moreThe place itself is calm and beautiful, but there's one thing that makes this place not recommended. The sea has petroleum in it. I went to this beach with brown rainy shoes which turned black just within half an hour of getting my shoes wet in the waves. I thought I might've stepped into dirt, but when I came home and cleaned my shoes, I found that the black residue was oily and smelled of petroleum. Please do something to fix this ASAP! We need our environment clean and our oceans clean! Not just us, the aquatic life...
