I have to say they have got a good concept of bringing in the vibes of authentic village style theme. People who visit the place will have a good time for sure.

The positives: The people who work there are warm and welcoming. They don't demand for money or curse the visitors for not tipping.

An old lady was singing and putting the vermillion on people's forehead. It was really heartwarming.

After you pay for the ticket, complimentary sherbet, watermelon slice, cane juice at the beginning nearby.

The food was fantastic. No question about it. Around 18 or so dishes to gorge and feast. From 1:30 to 4:30, they will serve you food.

Activities: Walking around the cashew orchard. A small obstacle course if you feel mighty (I felt the safety standards were questionable as the ropes were not tied properly). Most of the way, you will wobble. Safety net can tear if you put your feet accidentally.

You will be allowed to make your own clay pot with the help of a professional maker. While leaving, you can take it with you without any charge.

Boating in a small lake. If you feel like pedalling after lunch, go for it. Its a great exercise.

A magic show, Puppet show, balance act, musical chair are all tiny yet worthy entertainers. Don't miss it or question it.

Tipping here is voluntary. You can support them with your appreciation.

Rain dance was just fine. Funnily, it started to rain by 5 heavily and people were inside. Look at the irony; they wish to dance artificially yet they were unable to comprehend with the real rain.

Negatives: It's summer time and you will sweat bullets profusely. Animals suffer real bad. They go through intense slavery. They have to work from time to time without a gap. The condition of these poor creatures make you cry if you have a heart.

The horses, camels, ox, emus look real sad. A camel was crying out in pain as it was tired. Imagine you being in their place, would you like to be treated in the blazing sun without food, water and care?

People are the real animals. They hop in and enjoy and never really appreciate the animals with love. They have to take pictures. Ruthless.

This is a place you can visit for a small yet memorable experience. It's great for little children & students.

Don't pollute the place. Say thanks to the ones who serve food, who make taffy, who perform the act, who put mehandi, who give you the chance to participate. A thank you can bring a cheer to their heart.

Allow children for the rides and not you...

Its a visit for 1 day from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm. The place is very smartly planned. One of there employee told me agadi thota was there from past 14 years but is open to visitors from 4 years .... It is an ideal example to show along with farming recreation also can be done....Very homly village type atmosphere...Service over there is very nice....Details of my visit is as follows....There is welcome dance, aarthi, welcome drink (kocum juice), then they served watermelon, roap walking, sugar cane juice (you should crush by urself with a wooden machine), breakfast (dosas were awesome and hot don't miss jaggery with desi ghee n lemon ginger tea). Cotton candy, ethnic wear (ladies can dress up like Onake obavva n take pics with onake n grinding stone while gents can dress with doti n tk pics with sword, Rajastani wear is also available but they charge for that), mehandi, horse riding, rain dance (carry extra cloths),for brunch tamarind lollipop, Shankarpoli, Ragi ambli to drink, camel riding, lunch (authentic traditional Hubli lunch was very heavy), puppet show, tanga ride, Bullock cart ride, boating (peddle system), Pot making (it was my favorite best thing is you can carry pot made by you). Magic show, horoscope reading, Dancing (they teach u to dance like dancing with pot and dhandia), circus, lastly eaving snack (girmit mandakki n bajji with tea)....For this they charge only 500 Rs which is very cheap. And all this activity is in nature where you can find different cultivation like cashew, brinjal, mango, few jackfruit etc...So could breath fresh air away from city pollution.. Keeping all this aside agadi thota is also providing employment for hundreds of near by villager's...So seeing all this I guess one must visit this place and relax from regular hectic...

Agadi Thota provides an immersive experience that beautifully showcases the rich culture and hospitality of North Karnataka. From the start, you’re welcomed with a refreshing kokum drink that sets the tone for the day. A unique highlight is the sugarcane juice—you have to make it yourself, which adds an interactive and enjoyable touch for visitors. Our first visit in 2019 was memorable, this visit was for our little one and she enjoyed it fully but it’s clear that a lot has expanded and changed since then, making the experience even more well-organized and enriched. The breakfast, featuring millet dosa with green tomato chutney, ghee, and organic jaggery, is delightful. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a variety of snacks and beverages, including goli soda, ragi malt, and crispy khara shankarpale. The lunch is a true highlight, complemented by traditional accompaniments like bananas, betel leaves, and buttermilk. Beyond the food, Agadi Thota offers numerous activities such as rain dance, play areas, swings, and rides like bullock cart, tonga, horse rides, and boating. One particularly unique feature is the array of traditional costumes from different states, perfect for portraits and couple photos, including the popular alkaline saree theme for both men and women. The eco-friendly and sustainable environment is maintained by a dedicated team, ensuring cleanliness and a seamless experience. The open space is perfect for resting, especially beneficial for elderly visitors. Overall, Agadi Thota continues to impress with its thoughtful expansion and improved organization, offering a perfect blend of culture, activities, and delicious food for a truly memorable visit.

I cannot stress enough how beautiful this place is! I am from Hyderabad and if I had the business mind, I would have totally tried to open something like this in my city. This kind of experience is so rare and I am pretty sure it is the kind of place most of the urban folks would love to see more of. The place is filled with cashew trees! The tour of the farm starts with a welcome drink, the directions around the area lead you to different activities which include dressing up in Rajasthani and Maharashtrian outfits (50/- per head), Mehendi (free), Pottery, Bullock cart and Camel rides (free), Boating (free), Magic Show, making Sugarcane Juice and lastly a bunch of fun programs by the Agadi Thota team. The cost of the ticket is 550/- (as of December 2018) and is inclusive of lunch. Lunch was a delicious platter of purely vegetarian food; I am not very sure of the cuisines involved but I am very much sure that you cannot miss out on any single item, everything was worth trying. All these activities are accompanied by unlimited food and drinks. There are food stalls all throughout the place such as yummy Dosas with organic jaggery and coconut chutney, hot lemon tea with natural honey and ginger, sodas, cotton candy and a stall for evening snacks as well. Make sure that you call a day in advance for booking the tickets. I had to replan my Karnaraka tour just for the sake of not getting slots on the day I planned for, I rebooked for another day and I am very glad I did so. Agadi Thota is a must visit, undoubtedly!
