This is a Badra River belt flows from Kuduremukha Forest Range via Kalasa village, At his particular location called "Ambaa Theertha" is beautiful to see the river rage and yet very dangerous,

This place is located beside of Kalasa village on the way to Famous Horanadu temple. After monsoon is the best time to see the complete raging of water flow, and swimming is extremely dangerous and strictly prohibited, Family & kids have to take care extra safety as it is very slippery at all rocks almost.

The last 1-2km from the Kalasa main road to reach out this place is difficult, as the road condition is horrible and bit confusing. Prefer local help to reach the place. There is hanging bridge too at the further side of the view.

Nearest places to see are Vashishta theertha Hanging Bridge, Horanadu Temple, Kalasa temple, Kuduremukha trek, Soormane falls, Kyatanamakki hill Trek/Jeep Ride & Samse Ganapati temple

The gushing river, the mesmerizing whirlpools, and the majestic Western Ghats in the backdrop make it a photographer's dream. The invigorating dip in the cool, clear waters is an experience to cherish. The sound of rushing water and the fresh mountain air rejuvenate the senses. The journey to Amba Theertha itself is a scenic delight, winding through picturesque landscapes. 15kms (30-45mins) from Basrikal Forest Checkpost towards Horanadu Direction. One can get little off-road experience in reaching this location. Pros : Really a breathtaking view. Water flow is damn good and the water is really so cool. Clean riverbanks. (Far better than expected) Cool breeze and natural pebble stones.

Cons : No food & water facility (one can take their own food with them). No Toilets or changing rooms. Be more cautious about the mud road in Rainy season. River is Too dangerous in rainy season coz of it's slippery rocks with heavy downstream of water. Beware of the strong undercurrent in deeper sections.

We visited in August 2021🀩

Even if you don't have SUV or any other four wheelers, you can still go there by your two Wheeler vehicle with more caution⚠. This location Could be better option for group of people than...

Such a hidden wonderful place. You can enjoy the scenic view and water play. I visited in peak rainy season month August and it was awesome experience to reach this place by motor bike. Remember its very remote place and hardly you see couple of houses on the way to river point. So please make sure of your safety. Also do not engage in water play during rainy season as river current get so high within a no time because of mountain surrounding, you will not realise amount water comes into river even if it is raining at very far distance.
