Ā Ā Ā Read moreAn awesome 1 day trek and beautiful scenery which is about 60 kms from central Bangalore. There is a Temple that you can visit or else, you can go trekking. Trekking needs to be registered by booking online. Sometimes if you are lucky, you can get entry by paying the guards and guides at the entrance of the trekking. Itās better to reach the place as early as possible. Start your trek at 5:30 or 6 so that you can finish most of the climbing region before sunrise. It has amazing views and caves. There are 2 caves that the guides will take you to. One is a cave with long distance trek. Say 200 mts. The other one is difficult where you may have to loose your bags as you will have to crawl and remove your footwear as the ground has water flowing. The place has nice views for photographs and video shooting. You get food at the beginning of the trek, at the entrance of the temple gate. The place has a huge crowd of monkeys so, beware of your belongings getting stolen. If you visit the temple there is a person to take care of your footwear from monkeys stealing them. You have enough parking space for both 2 and 4 wheelers so, you donāt have to worry about parking. Food is available at the top of the trek with some cucumbers and tender coconut. If you wish to have food before the trek, there are multiple small shops that will help you with good food. Overall itās a best one day visiting place...

We took a rout from Chikka Tirupati road that was quite, peaceful, green and less polluted. Reached by 10pm. This is small to moderate trek and it can be visited throughout the year, even in peak summer as there are nice trees throughout path. Ample space for parking and a washroom nearby is available. The overall area is nicely developed for tourists however not maintained. The garbage is spread all across parking area by monkeys. The initial trek is has stairs and very easy with family or kids. After stairs are over there is nice temple of Lord Shiva and a small pond of where a stream of water is coming continuously mysteriously, hence it is called Kashi of South or Anthar Gange (River originating from within). This temple surround is very peaceful, full of monkeys (were not that aggressive) and full of positive vibes. Onward journey towards caves is without stair and through stones. Few local kids were proposing to escort as guides and we took one of them as the rout to caves has no proper direction arrow mentioned it is good to have a local guy. We finished trekking from temple to caves within one hour. Spent some time chilling in rocks and trees with a music. You will get two shops for water and snacks even after...
