A very peaceful Church. The Parish Priest and the other priests were kind and welcoming. The deacon Santosh helped us a lot by taking us around and explaining things in this Church, the museum and the old Church. A brahmin man was saved from a whirlpool from a near death situation by an icon of Mother Mary. He does not of course know that it is her. There are some miraculous healings after that. The icon is named Satyamma Matha by him. Later a Church was built on the land donated by the brahmin man and the icon is preserved in the new Church.

This place is huge! catholic or not, you have to go atleast once. They have a mass at 12 noon daily, parking is free, on-site.The Harihar Matha Basilica is a beautiful building which is built in Pagoda style is very impressive and this is the only church in India with Pagoda style.The altar & miraculous site is beautiful.On the way out there is a separate shrine's stall and a museum. There's a little beautiful Chapel beside the church. It was all awesome. I would recommend it to everyone. It is truly a holy place. The shrine heals you with strength and loads...
