Belur Golf Club — Attraction in Karnataka

Belur club was pretty good before but now they have put up fences around the baane so we can't walk at our leisure. The location is decent if you want to just relax at the club for your entire vacation, but not ideal if u want to travel. Also you have to have you're own vehicle to commute if you want to travel within Coorg cause there's not much bus and auto availability. From my personal experience,when you book though a member ,and during you're stay if a larger party of another member books a breakfast/lunch/dinner they give priority to the larger party. The food the serve will also be limited to the larger party's order. I need to specify that the cook lady is amazing, she is very friendly and I feel the love she puts in the cooking, but not being able to order what you want even when you are paying for it is a letdown..We had gone in hopes of tasting the non-veg food prepared by the club cause it was highly recommended to us but in the end we returning without satiating our taste buds...The rooms were lovely though, the beds were extremely soft and I personally loved sipping coffee while sitting in...

Belur golf ground, is private property owned and managed by belur club. The club is established back in 1930's heritage recreation club since the time of British . Wonderful place to watch the sunset. Best to visit the place post moonson as you the green fields and lots of cow grazing in the field. Furthermore, best time visit at night as you can see lots of stars from this place. Trust me if your a star gazzer and know about constellation , you can discover lots of planets, stars, shooting stars, meteors, shooting star's. Etc. As this place near the forest reserve, in the evening s at the time of dust, you can trace a lot of elephants crossing the roads, heading back to jungle. Oh boy this place is heaven and unexploited… rich in history and you can keep hearing stories all day long … expanse over 54 acres this is open club with public road in between… maintained by nature earth this club comes to life in last quarter of the year with golf championship also held in October. The club building is historical with many replicas of immense value displayed on the walls of the club. The layout is very British in nature and has amenities like tennis court, billiards, bar etc. the club also has 4 rooms which are very well laid out and impressive.
