Our visit to Bhimanakatte Math near Thirthahalli was one of those quiet, soul-refreshing experiences you don’t expect—but are so glad you stumbled into. The math is set amidst lush greenery, right by the river, and the whole place feels like nature hit pause. It's serene, scenic, and simply beautiful. The building itself looks amazing, with traditional architecture that stands out against the green backdrop.

There’s a calm spiritual vibe in the air, but even if you’re not there for the religious side, you’ll love just sitting around and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Also, fun fact for Kannada movie fans—some scenes from the film Paramatma were shot here. And honestly, no surprise—it’s got that cinematic charm without trying too hard.

Just a short walk from the math is a hanging bridge, and it’s the perfect little adventure. Slightly wobbly, full of charm, and giving you a beautiful view of the river below—it’s an experience on its own. We were lucky enough to be there during sunset, and the whole place lit up in golden tones. Standing on that bridge, watching the sun dip behind the trees, with the river quietly flowing beneath… easily one of the best moments of the trip.

Bhimanakatte located at the banks of tungabhadraa river which is one of the historical place to visit and we'll preserved temples for sanctuaries. Friendly people and there is a hanging bridge which make the place much more attractive. I recommend to all visit the place get the blessings.

You should come here with an empty mind to learn & take away the blessings of Swamiji. A very peaceful and serene environment. The perfect place to sit down for meditation 🧘‍♂️. A visit to this place is only for the blessed one. For me this is heaven...
