The Narasimha Jhira Cave Temple is famous for its astounding structure and is known to be holy. The temple is located in the cave wherein the water is said to flow at about 300 meters approximately. The Temple is located in the hill ranges of Manichoola and opens for the general public at 08.00 o'clock in the morning. Bidar is situated in North Karnataka; this temple is a kilometer distant from the Bidar city. One has to endeavor through the intense water to make it to the lord. The temple is dedicated to the invincibly powerful God Narasimha, and is also referred to as the Jharani Narasimha Temple & the Narasimha Zarna Cave temple. Each year, thousands of people come to the temple to have their wishes fulfiled. This holy temple is situated inside a cave. Devotees who want to visit the cave temple can opt for air, rail or road travel. The temple is operational between 07.00 in the morning to 01.00 in the afternoon.
HISTORY
According to the mythology of this temple, Narasimha Jhira, the great lord, first destroyed Hiranyakashipu & further proceeded to kill demon Jalasura who was known to be a loyal devotee of God Shiva. Lord Narasimha, after killing the demon took the form of water & started flowing towards Lord Shiva. This is why people need to literally strive its way to get the blessings of Lord. There are arrangements which were made recently to make sure that there is proper ventilation and electricity. Everyone has to bathe with the water outside the temple. There are two deities that are located at the end of the cave namely, a Shiva Linga, which was worshiped by the demon Jalasura & Lord Narasimha. Overall, you can reach the temple in less than 30mins. Timings:- 9AM to 5PM.
Dressing room:- As devotees get drenched inside the cave, all devotees will change their dresses prior or after the darshan. I have observed there are dressing rooms available for ladies. Don't know how much neat they are. Unfortunately, there are no dressing rooms for Gents.
Temple darshan ticket/cloak room :- You have to take ticket for entry into temple. Priced about Rs.10/- per person. There are separate tickets for different pooja's etc. Cloak room also is a paid one. We have kept all our items mobile phones, camera, etc inside cloak room.
Food:- There are no nearby good hotels there. It is surrounded by empty forest area. Better reach near bus stop or other place...

As per April 16th, entry timings for cave is 7:30 - 9:30 after 9:15 ticket counter will close and without ticket, no entry for pilgrims, ticket cost is 10rs (office is located beside steps)
There are no proper washrooms, 1 is there worst washroom you will find, but right now they are building new washrooms
3.there is no rooms for dress changing, for ladies also not Available, but for ladies there is a closed shed there they will collect 5rs per person, there ladies can change dress, for Gents no shead - nothing
4.there are no rooms to stay or fresh near to the temple, you have to go to the bedhar town, i.e is the near by place
5.clock rooms available at office, where you will buy tickets, there only clock rooms are available
Cave experience is very god experience, water is bit dirty, because no of people increased and below the water total red sand, so water turned to red color
7.while going to the cave dont wear white dress, it will get dirty, try to wear any other, which easily get rid of dirt
Note: you should carry some money 1st to get the tickets, 2nd to buy coconuts and all, 3rd ladies dress change. So you can buy the tickets and go to the temple and you will darshan the lord narasimha swamy, and come back change the dress
