Padubidri Blue Flag Beach is undoubtedly one of the best beaches in Udupi, offering a perfect blend of cleanliness, safety, and serenity. Unlike other crowded beaches, this one remains relatively peaceful, making it an ideal destination for those who want to relax and enjoy nature without the usual hustle and bustle. One of the highlights of this beach is its exceptional cleanliness. The authorities have maintained the beach remarkably well, with staff constantly cleaning the washrooms and surrounding areas every few minutes. The entry fee is ₹40 or ₹50 per person, which is a small price to pay for the well-maintained amenities provided. For those who love swimming in the sea, this is one of the safest beaches. The waters are clean, and lifeguards ensure safety for visitors. There are proper changing rooms and well-maintained washrooms, making it convenient for people who wish to take a dip in the sea. The beach is also surrounded by lush greenery, adding to its scenic beauty. Another great feature is the play area for children, making it a family-friendly spot. Additionally, behind the beach, there is a water body where visitors can enjoy kayaking, adding an element of adventure to the experience. Overall, Padubidri Blue Flag Beach is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Udupi. Whether you want to relax, take a bath in the sea, enjoy water activities, or simply admire the natural beauty, this place has it all. Highly recommended!

This is one of the finest beaches I have ever visited in life. The beach has a coveted blue flag status, with many amenities available. I would also like to appreciate the cleanliness of the beach and the entire area. Though I went on a Sunday mid-morning, the beach was less crowded.

The beach is accessible from 9 am generally. In the entrance they charge a small fee, typically for the maintenance activities. The entrance leads to a small beautiful park which is very calm and free from pollution. There are clean toilets, changing rooms and drinking water is available. The park leads way to the sands where one can access the beach.

The beach sand has clean white sand and the rhythm of the Arabian sea feels beautiful. Within the beach premise are a few huts with some wooden logs / benches and some swings to relax while watching the ocean. There is a cafe operational which serves some snacks and beverages at reasonable prices. Children area is available and some basic fitness activities can be done.

Near the beach is a backwater where kayaking can be done. I went during the last week of March and hence I believe kayaking was closed. There is ample space in the beach to walk. I went during the morning but I also believe this beach would look even better during evening and one can relax beautiful sunsets along with family and friends.

One humble request to the visitors is to maintain the cleanliness of the beach and cooperate with the staff in the same.

Much recommended for families...
