One of the best one-day outing spots. This is near the Tumkur district.

Main attractions to visit - Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Temple, Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple, View Points, Namada Chilume (Deer Park and Historical Place related to Lord Rama), Forest Road, etc.,

You will see an arch that you have to enter through to reach DD Hills. As you enter the arch, at a little distance, you will see the DD Hills lake on your left. The spot is very beautiful and you can spend some time there.

After this, continue on the road till you reach Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Temple which is located at the base of the hill. You need to take the left to reach Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Temple and the right to go to Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple. Park your car near the Bhoga Narasimha Swamy Temple and have the darshan. The gopura looks very beautiful with all the dasavathars carved on the bottom. You will not miss noticing this. After darshan, visit the monolithic rock view of DD hills which is 500 meters from this temple. The view is beautiful and amazing. You can take pictures along with your vehicle itself.

From here, either take steps to reach the top of the hill - Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple or proceed in your vehicle to a spot where you have to park the car and then take the 100+ steps to reach the Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple. There are pushcarts selling chat items, cucumbers, fruits, etc., near the car parking space. The steps are moderate climbs and there are places in-between to sit, relax and continue to climb. You will find greenery everywhere with a cool breeze which will make your climb very pleasant. However, beware of the monkeys. The temple has a beautiful step pond and there are plenty of viewpoints here and there that overlook the winding roads and nearby villages.

Once done, start to proceed to view Namada Chilume (Deer Park and Historical Place related to Lord Rama). There are two routes to visit this. One is as soon you enter the arch there is an indication to take a road to reach. This was closed when we visited. So we came back down till the arch and from there use your maps to reach Namada Chilume. You will travel through beautiful forest roads before you reach there.
