A nice place and looks great in pictures and only hope it really was that pleasant. The water seems to be coming from a lake and not sure if there is sewer water also getting into the water as I happened to see many dead fish as well as blackish water. There are a few good birds to watch here. Walking on edge is not a great idea as it has a lot of moss and quite slippery. If you fall you may fall in the rocks and get hurt. One side of the lake looks quite deep. So stay away from it. No tickets to visit this place. The place is just not maintained with trash and junk all over. There is nobody to assist you or any kind of Signages over here. Parking too is not organised. A nice place to get some pictures but if some interest was taken by the authorities it could improve tourism and its visitors multifold. Give it a try and see for yourself and judge for yourself.

Found this sweetly refreshing spot on our way back from Chikmagalur to Bangaluru, and it just became the highlight of our trip in no time. The place is not too off the highway, just hardly 3-5 kms. A peaceful, serene and eye-catching place as soon as you reach. This place actually distributes the excess water from the nearby Dam. So, there will be occasions when the water levels are high and that is when we visited. One can thoroughly enjoy a dip in the waters, or may just sit down to admire the beauty. You might also find some local kids fishing and swimming around too. We spent more than 2 hours and could have spent more with no thoughts. Do visit once.

Easily accessible, Tar road is available till the end. Free parking is available for both bike and car. After monsoon is the best time to visit. Water is polluted so not suitable for drinking or swimming. Water also gives a pungent smell. Better to visit during day time and best is in the evening. Avoid night time. Good place to visit once with family. Not recommended for a day plan. One can walk on the check dam during summer.

Not a must visit place. Can visit once. The place and the water stinks. They say this place has to be visited during monsoon (rainy) season when more water flow will be there. Ample parking space. The road to reach this place is pretty ok narrow roads. However manageable. There are many people so crowded... Growth of weed is also prominent and people have to be very careful while walking on the boundaries else high chances of falling and in case you miss to get hold on... Then you'll fall to a place below the boundary where there are big stones and one...
