I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kadvinkattey Dam, and it was an experience that left me in awe. The dam is not just an engineering marvel, but also a scenic retreat that offers breathtaking views and a serene environment.

From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the natural beauty surrounding the dam. The lush greenery and the tranquil waters create a picturesque setting that is perfect for a relaxing day out. The calm and quiet atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for nature lovers and those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

One of the highlights of my visit was walking along the dam and taking in the panoramic views. The sight of the water cascading over the dam, combined with the backdrop of rolling hills, was simply mesmerizing. It’s a photographer’s paradise, with numerous spots to capture stunning landscapes.

The area around the dam is well-maintained, with clean pathways and ample seating areas where visitors can sit and enjoy the scenery. There are also several lookout points that provide unobstructed views of the dam and its surroundings. For those interested in a bit of adventure, there are hiking trails that lead to even more spectacular viewpoints.

In addition to its natural beauty, Kadvinkattey Dam also serves an important purpose in water management and irrigation, making it a vital resource for the local community. Learning about its role and the engineering behind it added another layer of appreciation to my visit.

Overall, Kadvinkattey Dam is a must-visit destination for anyone in the area. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat, an opportunity to connect with nature, or simply a beautiful spot to take some photographs, this dam offers it all. I highly recommend spending a few hours or even a whole day here to fully appreciate its beauty...

Visited this place and it's a bliss to the eyes 😍 the overflowing water from the dam creates a pretty waterfall...

Must visit during the rainy season or after... Only then you can see the beauty of the dam..When the overflow is heavy dont step into the water as the force would be too much..if force is less than you can walk over the surface till the end but carefully....

There is a temple beside the dam...do visit.. To view the dam there is a mini park to enjoy the view...

Best place for a photoshoot...and the usual hangout..The location is precise on the google map..

Please put the garbage in the garbage bins only...throwing it in the water or on the ground won't help recycling it... In your house you don't throw garbage on the sofa, floor or kitchen right...!! Same way make use of garbage bins outside also... Dont be an...

The is an awesome place to visit. Located 3kms away from Bhatkal. It's a dam where you can have a walk on the borders of the dam from end to end when the water is low. The nature and greenery is at it's best. The place is quite inner but the road is quite good but small but a car can easily reach till the dam. The place is calm silent and a bit clean. There is no ticket to visit it's free. There is no shops of any kind. You can have a feel of the fresh water of the dam and enjoy the nature and it's beauty. Don't miss to visit if you are anywhere near the place. Because you will miss to see the heaven. *Do carry water bottles because you won't get anything there. *Swimming is strictly prohibited. *Be careful...
