Date of visit - 14 July 2023 Time of exit - 1400 hrs. No. Of people - 5 Adults, 1 toddler Bill amount - 4k
Pros - Situated approx 3 km interior to highway via approach road, it looks good. The excitement is usually all high to experience the tour of vineyard of great brand like SULA. As you reach the gate, the entrance and cleanliness looks quite promising. The items listed in Food menu are decent enough. As Good place to take pictures and post on insta.
*Cons - You are asked to pay 400 rs person as entrance fee and you are given coupons worth 400 to redeem inside. This type of policy itself is classic example that they are not confident that customer will even pay 400 bucks post tasting their food.
The Food is below average but the prices are equivalent to finest restaurants of Bengaluru. The pizza is listed as “wood fired” however they have no clue how a wood fired pizza is made, the crust of pizza is “readymade” types. one of the worst Rissoto, it is just like salted curd rice with turmeric and coconut oil. One of the “ poorest management We have ever seen. “ They billed us for 4k and didn’t redeem the vouchers. When we said reimburse the voucher amount of 2k (400 *5), they said they don’t have provision to reimburse. They don’t have any cash in premises and can’t reimburse by digital pay as well. They were consistently forcing us to purchase us anything from there of 2k but they can’t refund, even though it was their billing mistake. when we raised our voice they threatened us that “raising the voice won’t help and you would be in trouble”. Anyways we left the premises, considering that we lost the money to pick pockets/beggars.
**Verdict - Irrespective of the fact they stole our money, the true verdict is that the “Site is good but managed by few crooks”
Whosoever planning a visit to Sula vineyard should rather plan it “the Ranch” I.e. “Paul John” vineyard. It’s way better and their Pizza is way good. “The Ranch” vineyard is approx 6 times in size of this one and very scenic too and the staff is...
Read moreHave been here with couple of my friends to our first experience with Vine Tasting , getting to know process of Vine Preparation and most importantly Grapes Stamping.
The place is neat and the vine tour is okayish with good information on the process , we saw oak container as well. However our visit being on Sunday was the only thing cause of which we couldn’t go through live packing of bottles from Oak container. We were allowed to taste 6 different flavours of vine and were made aware on how to drink and differentiate the vines.
Clean and silent place to chill around. They have in-house restaurant which can fill your belly though sent the pockets cause of higher prices.
Best time to visit is during Grape harvesting season(Dec to Feb).
Parking is available, washroom were clean and For grape stamping we need to pay extra.
Please be cautious of the amount of grapes provided and time for stamping , we had hard time asking for proper amount of grapes and time for stamping.
One day break sab ko chahye .. Grape stamping is an...
Read moreThe worst ever experience of visiting any vineyard. Management staff is absolutely arrogant whether giving tour or in general at entry. We had a company visit of 30people. Nobody informed at the gate about clear rules of cost of tour & tasting. After paying at entrance for all, we were informed about seperate fees for tour after entering inside. This caused unnecessary delay and unpleasant experience. Instead, they could have explained at the entrance itself. Our Director could have paid all cost at once. Very unprofessional people. The manager said everything is displayed at Entrance. Can somebody explain me what the following photo tells? I recommend PROFESSIONALS not to visit this place. Probably good for...
