If you are a 90s kid and have watched Malgudi days in Doordarshan , then you should visit this Museum at Arasalu Railway Station , Karnataka. They have restored a lot of items used in shooting of Malgudi days serial. The Museum is located in the Arasalu railway station compound . There is also a Train bogie which is converted into a Cafe where you get fresh tea and coffee . Having tea inside the actual narrow gauge train bogie gives a unique feeling.The entry fee for the museum is 5 rupees. There are paintings from Malgudi days serial on the museum walls . Its not a very huge museum . You can spend an hour in the whole compound. Kids may or may not enjoy this place because they might not be able to connect to the nostalgia of Malgudi days serial from Doordarshan days.
