The journey to Nagarmadi is an adventure in itself. While motorable roads lead for about a kilometer towards the falls, the final stretch requires a trek through dense forests and rugged terrain. This short but exhilarating walk allows visitors to immerse themselves in the rich flora and fauna of the region, accompanied by the soothing sounds of nature. However, caution is advised, especially during the monsoon season, as the rocks can become very slippery. The best time to visit Nagarmadi Waterfalls is typically from July to October, when the water flow is at its peak and the surrounding landscape is lush and vibrant. While the falls offer a refreshing dip in the clear waters, visitors should be mindful of safety, as some areas can be challenging. It's recommended to wear sturdy trekking shoes and carry essentials like water and snacks, as facilities near the falls are limited. Despite its relatively lesser-known status, Nagarmadi Waterfalls promises a tranquil and picturesque experience, making it a hidden gem for those seeking an off-the-beaten-path adventure...

Nestled near Karwar in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, Nagaramadugu Waterfalls is a hidden gem that promises a thrilling adventure. This seasonal waterfall is a result of rainwater and is at its most spectacular during and immediately after the monsoon season, from June to February. The trek to the falls is a major part of the experience, with well-marked trails winding through lush greenery and providing a scenic and adrenaline-filled journey. Visitors consistently praise the raw, untouched beauty of the area. It is a perfect spot for those who seek an off-the-beaten-path destination. However, the trek can be challenging and is best undertaken in groups. It is also important to note that facilities are limited, and some reviews mention the lack of restrooms, changing rooms, and drinking water. Despite these limitations, the mesmerizing sight of the cascading waterfall makes the effort worthwhile for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Remember to carry your own water and snacks, wear comfortable shoes, and keep the...

Hidden Gem ! This place is blessed with natural beauty. Active during rainy season only. The mini reservoir beneath giant necked rock is ideal for swimming, a bit deeper at inner side though. Only thing is , there's no proper road to reach there. One has to walk around a Km to reach there. But the walk is Worth it. View at sight is scenic. Water is crystal clear. Tiny fishes inside the pond offers free Fish Therapy if you stand still inside the water, they kiss, lick your feet and eat away all the dead skin. There's no shop nearby, so one has to take everything before hanging out there . One thing disappointed me is littering around by patrons. Area around the water fall is flooded with bottle, wrappers, glasses and other waste materials. We must respect and...

Scenic place, waterfall near Karwar City. It's a 2 km walk from the road. Be careful of the walk as it's more like a mini-trek. So it takes around 30-40 min to reach the waterfall. Do carry a water bottle, as the walk is long. Please go with a group of at least 5 people. There's no range around the area as it's on the outskirts. Please do not litter as there is no one to clean the place, as it is a part of the forest reserve. No wild animals around so no need to get scared. Avoid going in the rainy season, as the flow of water is more and can lead to accidents.

Amazing place! After seeing pictures of this place I really wanted to visit it. After you park your car/bike, you have to trek for about 1 km to reach the falls. It's not an easy trek coz there's quite a bit of climbing to be done and the rocks are really slippery. Not suitable for old people! It's a lovely place to relax and take a dip into the crystal clear water. The place is really beautiful but a lot of people leave their junk behind and pollute the place, please keep the place clean. PS. DO NOT get into the water if you do not know how to swim
