NITK Beach — Attraction in Karnataka

Words will never be enough to write about this place. spending the engineering days at KREC/NITK has not been as good if this beach was not around. be it a happy day or sad day due to whatever reason, this was the perfect destination to share the moments with friends. There is a piece or calmness which you get while you start walking across this beach. there has been so many happy moments on this beach starting from the day when visited the college first time for admissions till the last day of leaving this place. I would love to visit this place soon along with family and they are already fed-up of hearing the stories of this beach and the proud I feel while tell, we got private beach at our college. Holi has never been so special if colors not being mixed on this beach and cross country has also not been so special if not passing thru the beach and having sutta break in between the race, race was just a fun moment, who cares about the time and the spot you get in the race. My head recall so many things while writing this review and not even sure how my fingers going fast on keyboard to capture the moments. Hope to be on this beach...

NITK beach well connected by public transport, from highway road bus stop just 15 mins walk to reach this beach, free parking for vehicles on road, one big hotel on the beach, mostly crowded beach during evenings and weekends, light house is located at this place, clean & calm beach, no life guard available, police staff will be patrolling this place, can't enter into water, rocks are there on beach, click nice pics on rocks and waves, sunset is beat seen here, long Beach, locals will be walking in evenings, pics with light house in background is awesome, no other activity available here, good for couples and families, Surathkal beach is just 500 mts near, safe place but better to avoid late evenings, google map location is correct, definitely recommend this beach to enjoy evenings...

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've gone too, it's really clean and less crowded. The beach is beautiful during evening due to sunsets, but on most days it would be cloudy, but the subsets are a must watch here. There is only one shop for tea, drinks and snacks near the beach and parking is also limited. There is a separate gate for NITK students and the entry and exit time include 5-7 AM & 6-8PM respectively. After this the beach gate closes and the students have to enter through another gate. There is a lighthouse and a wrecked ship which also add to the vibe of the beach. The lighthouse has an entry close time of 6PM and an entry fee around 20 rupees per person. It is really...
