Sri ThimmaRaya Swamy temple at BettaDasanaPura is one such shrine in Electronic City Bangalore, which possesses invaluable wealth of natural and architectural splendor of enormous significance. It is on small hillock in Bettadasanapura village, on the way to Beguru on Koppa Road. This is an ancient village which has developed along with adjoining city, witnessing unimaginable rush of vehicles. All round the temple there will be high traffic throughout the day because of its important link connecting Electronic City with Bannergatta Road. The temple is on a low lying hill but greenery is a rare thing to be seen here. Fortunately for devotees like me {bare-foot walkers} it is not steep but sloppy that is convenient and easy to walk. There is a road upto the temple. A tiny pillared mantapa is seen in front of the temple. The temple structure appears to be of recent origin compared to the fort around it. The legendary story is that sage Gouthama Maharshi meditated on this hill thousands of years ago. Lord Vishnu being pleased appeared along with His consorts Goddess Lakshmi and Padmavathi and blessed him. That incident motivated him to bring up the temple in the name of Lord Thimmarayaswamy. I have visited another small shrine dedicated to Lord Kashi Vishwanathaswamy adjoining this temple. In both these shrines the idols are beautiful, attractive and charming. I have been regular visited to this temple since my childhood days and I love to see them again and again. Must visit this place

Also most of "MALGUDI DAYS" serial scenes were captured...

You have to climbs few steps to visit the Thimmaraya swamy along with Bhoodevi and Sridevi. Dwarapalaka Jaya and Vijaya are very eye catching sculptures.

Shiva temple of Kashi Vishwanath in the next building has a beautiful linga.

People spend time next to this temple on rock surface eating prasadam served in either of these temples especially on Saturdays.

In front of Shiva temple is the temple pond.

Location📍: Very near to Hosur highway close to Electronic city and Bannerghatta national park.

Shree Bhu Neela Sameta Temple is a very divine and peaceful place filled with spiritual energy. The temple is beautifully maintained, and the architecture gives you a sense of devotion and tradition. The idols of Lord Venkateshwara along with Goddess Bhu Devi and Neela Devi are truly mesmerizing, radiating positive vibes the moment you step inside. 🙏✨ The temple premises are clean, well-organized, and provide a calm atmosphere for prayer and meditation. The priests perform poojas and rituals with great devotion, and the whole darshan experience feels very soulful. Ample space is available for devotees to sit and spend some peaceful time. Accessibility is good, with proper arrangements for footwear and basic facilities for devotees. Visiting during special occasions and festivals makes the atmosphere even more vibrant and filled with devotion. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a spiritual retreat, blessings, and inner peace. 🌺

The temple is located near by Electronic city. Very pleasant and ancient temple. It was build on the top of a small hill. So if you're visiting this temple during the sunset, you can have a awesome scenic view. There are 2 temples, one is Venkateshwara Swamy and another is Shiva. The priests are very friendly and make your temple visit much pleasant. I am not sure about washroom facilities as i couldn't find any. As it is on the hill, the city view, electronic City view, the other side empty lands makes it all worth. There's a wall built around the temple premises which is wide enough for ppl to walk, those who can climb those few steps and get on the wall can have a walk on the wall and enjoy the evening breeze and view.
