250 years old temple very well maintained 🤗 Very clean, slipper stand, luggage and mobile counter available, very safe CCTV camera, vehicle easily access, no steps, senior citizens easily walk, very good clean food available... Sunday, holiday special day little crowd, but very good nature, visit on workday, no crowd very peaceful area car parking all free !! Saligram shila of sri narasimha swami, Located just beside NH47, Once a year procession will be there, the chariot is magnificent with stone wheels Temple has mysore kingdom style and many idols all over temple. recently they made modifications like covering inner temple premises with shelter sheets to protect us from rains and sun burns. Also Mobile's not allowed inside temple, check timings before going to temple otherwise you may end up infront of closed door. Oldest, simple and powerful temple

Very Divine and serene setting. Shri Narasimha is in the form of Shaligrama which is believed to have been worshipped by Lord Shri Rama. The Seebi temple was built and is managed by family of Lakshminarasayya, Puttanniah and Nallappa is dedicated to the memory of Kacheri Krisnayya (erstwhile Diwan of Mysuru) and Alamelamma, their parents, as homage who performed ‘Sati’. Only issue is that authorities don't enforce timings on their staff. Temple (even in this month), opened way past 9am and many of us were waiting there since 7:30am. It also could do with some good maintenance to preserve the heritage structure though the temple by and large is very clean.

This is one of the oldest temple in Karnataka. When Kingsibi prayed to God and got house wishes fulfilled, the main Narasimhan is always called after him as seebi Narasimhan temple. Just twenty two kms from tumkur. When I went there car festivals was just then over and it was spotted with all types of water from plates to cups. Even the kalyani was in worst shape to wash even legs. The temple is maintained cleanly for that rush. Mobiles after not allowed inside the temple and there is a token system for safekeeping free of charge. It can be still better maintained. A lovely place to go

Amazing place to visit for peace of mind! The place is crowded on Saturdays and Sundays . Also prasadam is distributed on these days usually ! One can visit this early in the morning and take tickets for abhisheka that happens at 10:30 in the morning. 120₹ was the abhisheka cost if we have our own abhishekha items like milk, curd etc .otherwise if the temple has to arrange they will charge you 250₹. Lots of monkeys in the campus . So take bananas for those monkeys to feed them. Also note not much pooja items were available near the temple. We had taken the pooja items from home. We had been there on Tuesday. They will charge you 30₹ at the entrance gate (entrance arch) of the temple. We had gone...

Can anyone tell the details of Mundan (Gundu) for my daughter..fees and timings for it.. Motioned number is switched off. Don't know anyone to contact about it.

Edit 18/02/2020 Someone received the call on mentioned number and gave details. I had been there for Mundan.... They charge Rs. 150/- without anything else. Others usually give fruits, grain and maybe flowers with Rs. 100/-. Temple has changed a lot.. Maintained very well compared to before (maybe because there was a Jaatre(fair) in that week not sure) overall temple visit was pleasant. Would try visiting often.

I had been there....there is a contact number near kalyani...you can call them directly...they...
