Nice spiritual place located in amidst western ghats. very serene and silent place. only sound is that of the small river which originates in front of Ganapathy IDOL.The place was located in mother nature . one can find extreme peace in this lord ganesha temple.. in this temple a perennial waterflow which emerges in front of idol of lord ganesha..extremely clear and pure water .in this place we felt more positive energy. Aprox 5km from Koppa town.its a place Origin of River Brahmi .water starts from lord Ganesha foot .U can go by Car or Bike or tempo traveller .We can enjoy the beauty of Nature .
Felt blessed by seeing the born of bhrami river .What a serene place. This temple is unique one in Karnataka where water flows in front of the deity forming the source of a river it is said. It will help to understand the value of water and why religious people hold rivers as sacred. The next generation will understand the importance of water. It is said bathing in these waters here in the temple will get rid of shani dosha
I experienced great miracle here which cannot be expressed in words. Very very refreshing place in the midst of the jungle. In this place all the basic facilities are available, plz( tourist) don't use plastic coz people here don't have any waste management facilities...So keep the place clean.

Read moreFrom Udupi, It took us 3 hours to reach. The road was mostly hood and since it was mid September, the weather too was pleasant with overcast skies and occasional showers.
The temple itself is small and has lost its old world charm due to renovation using cement concrete and paint.
The vegetation around is still quite dense with ancient tall trees but it may not last long.
Parts of the vegetation just adjoining the temple premises has been recently cleared for a motorable road that probably leads to some upcoming resort or tourism project.
The highlight of the place is the continuous flow of cold water from an underground source that has been channeled to an open pool-like structure where one could bathe/wash under its steady fall.
From there on the water goes down a gully in the hill into the wilderness around.
When i visited, there were a few cows just outside the entrance who seemed familiar with the place and were being fed and worshipped by fellow visitors.
