Read moreThe Vaidyeshwara Temple, in Vaidyanathapura, 2 Kms from Maddur Town , on the banks of River Shimsha , has been a place of pilgrimage for ages. Locally, it attracts a lot of devotees as the Lord Shiva here is considered one who cures all ills. The Temple was built in Ganga-Nolamba times . A Large Veeragallu and a lovely bas relief of a Devi can also be seen within the compound. A good place to visit for both the devout and art Lovers.
