Poshettihalli Falls: A Calm Oasis with a Hidden Gem and a Sneaky Canine Companion.
We visited Poshettihalli Falls over the first weekend of August, but what we found was not quite what we expected. Instead of a roaring waterfall, we discovered a serene lake with a dam-like structure that allows water to overflow when the reservoir is full. While the lack of rainfall in the area meant there was no water flowing, we were still charmed by the tranquil atmosphere.
The nearby temple was a highlight, offering a peaceful and picturesque spot to relax. A few shops in the vicinity provided a convenient place to grab snacks and refreshments.
But the real star of the show was a smart and sneaky dog who befriended us. If you're a dog lover, be warned: this canine will capture your heart and cleverly manipulate you into buying treats from the nearby shops. We were surprised by the dog's cunning nature, but the locals just laughed and told us that this dog is the smartest of the bunch, using the same tactics on all gullible tourists.

And, of course, the dog's antics added an extra layer of entertainment to our visit. If you're looking for a quick, relaxing getaway, Poshettihalli Falls (or rather, lake) is worth a visit. You can easily spend an hour or so soaking in the serenity of...

The place is getting dirtier by the day with plastic all over. Have to walk for about a km towards the falls from car park. Entrance...

The place where the water flows from above is a bit interior where you can walk or take your vehicles if there is less crowd. Elderly people might not walk that distance so be mindful of that.
It's not maintained well with littering all over but if the water volume is good enough you can enjoy.
Do not play on the water settled below as it's not clean.
Good for a...
