Adyanpara waterfall is located in the Kurumbalangode village of Nilambur taluk at about 15 km from Nilambur. The waterfall is situated amidst lush green forests that boast of several exotic avifauna and migratory birds that visit the place during the seasons. Adyanpara waterfall is an ideal spot for swimming and trekking. This seasonal waterfall in Kerala is spectacular in monsoons. It is yet not very popular amongst tourists. So, you may get the whole place to yourself. Cascading water and lush greenery around the place are picturesque. It is not advisable to go into the water as the flow is very strong. But, you can sit on the shores and enjoy the view. Unpack your picnic baskets and unwind with the loved ones in the shade of trees. The sound of the flowing water will soothe your mind. Explore Adyanpara Waterfalls and other prime spots of the city using Nilambur trip planner.

The sliding water of Kerala. The place is just beautiful and it is nearly maintained. Thanks to the fact that they collect an entry fee of 10 and they give us good facilities for this.

The place is nearly maintained and is full of flowers birds plants..etc. As soon as you enter, the sound of the fall will take you to exact spot you need to be in.

We went during the month of December so the flow wasn't too high and in addition to it, they controlled the flow so the water wasn't too overwhelming.

But don't let beauty fool you. THE PLACE CAN BE DANGEROUS. The place is very very slippery so one wrong step and you never know what could happen. You have places where you could just slide and fall into a pool of water. Looks cool in videos but it is definitely dangerous so take care when your there.

IMPORTANT. If you plan to travel by bus be ready for a really challenging 3 km walk up and then down again. So I wouldn't recommend it. You can take an auto. We had a really good driver take us there from nilambur bus stand and dropped us off at the same place. Including the waiting he charged us 450. So please...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Adyanpara, and I must say, it was truly breathtaking. The natural beauty of this place is simply stunning, with the scenery including the waterfalls and mountains surrounded by the small water bodies.

As I wandered around, I was struck by the tranquility of the surroundings, with only the sounds of nature breaking the peaceful silence. The fresh air was invigorating, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.

Whether you're looking for a place to explore, take in stunning views, or simply relax and unwind, Adyanpara is the perfect destination. There are plenty of well-marked trails to explore, as well as lookout points that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

In addition, the facilities and amenities were clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible. And the staff were friendly and helpful, providing information and suggestions for making the most of my visit.

Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape in nature. It's a true gem and a must-visit...

Adyanpara Waterfall is a wonderful tourist spot to relax and unwind during a weekend. But it is also a hotspot for Covid. Dozens of people drive out here in search of fun and without wearing masks. It is at present to be visited at your own risk. Nonetheless it is a gorgeous place which is almost always crowded. But if you find a cosy nook, you can spend the entire day peacefully. The hydro power plant is also situated nearby which you can visit and check out from the outside. They generate electricity via the waterfall and the pipeline is almost 3kms long. It's one of the most scenic and beautiful places in and around Nilambur which is a must visit if you're into nature and stuff. There aren't many things to do except have a dip in the water. And catch a bite of food at the nearby stalls. I'd suggest they have strict measures in place given the spread of Covid at present. But you can visit at your own risk. There is a parking fee as well as an entrance fee which is quite minimal. And the place is definitely well maintained.
