We used to go every now and then with my niece and we used to take our pet shih tzu too ..he is always on leash and very well trained …but today after we took our tickets and we got in with our dog which they saw . After getting inside the park within 5 mins one security came rushing and in a very bad tone and language told us that we have to get out at this very moment as dogs are not allowed ..he was extremely rude..and then we came out and then he was standing at the front of the office ..one guy inside the office and people at the counter were courteous and they said it’s because it’s rush time . If there is a rule like pets are not allowed then clearly put it up..On asking the security what his name was he didn’t want to reveal .All staff and the security at the front were okay ..this security guy’s problem which he mentioned is that he peed inside the park ..I want to mention that there are indie street dogs inside the park which we see very often especially in the upper section ..this security’s unruly behaviour was a nightmare..staff should be trained how to behave properly ..even if dogs are not allowed there is a way to speak or convey it . Horrendous experience..a total nightmare..Never...

Aakkulam children's park is one of the attractions in aakkulam tourist village.Recently it's been renovated and wonderful kids amenities are in place now. This is a quite area where you can hear only natural voice from the bird's. The park itself is inside a thick plantation of woods hence even on the mid day you could feel a cool climate.Since it's recently renovated all equipments for the kids are new and on international standards. The park is located on ulloor-Aakkulam road and only 9 KM away from Kazhakkoottam. The park opens all day everyday from morning 8 to evening 8. The ticket charges for kids 10 INR and Adults 20 INR.There are public toilets available for guests.

The second face of the project includes an air force museum and kids swimming pool. A model of Surya Kiran training flight which is used by Indian Air Force is on display. All together it's a place worth to visiting...

Nice place for spending time with kids 👍👍. There is a good play area for kids, A swimming pool is also there. The premises is neat and clean and the facilities are provided at nominal rate.

Located a little bit away from city on the bank's of Aakkulam lake with calm and quite atmosphere and not very congested ☺️. Parking is in the roadside premises with ample space

Update on 2023 More recreation items are added like Musical fountain, zipline, airforce museum, swimming pool, boating, snacks area etc. All of these have extra payment over the entry fee.

The Nominal entry fee is also hiked. Overall, it has become a little more expensive for a normal family

Now it has become more crowded, so does the parking on roadside. However, a seperate parking space has...

This is the best park in and around for kids now. Competent. Clean. And new. Hope this will be maintained. Kudos to entire team including vk prasanth and minister kadakampalli. I loved it. Had I known this, I would have saved ~30k I would have otherwise spent at mot. This could poss a problem to mot. Similar was the case in ktm and they shut down Benjamin Baily park like 5 years back for renovation and still it's the same. Hope here that won't be the case. Pros: Great rides for kids Good nature, trees, env Nice pool Great coracle boating facility. This is a plus. Friendly crowd. Cons Parking space I recommend this to any friend of mine.

Nice place to hangout with kids. The place is far from town, one must need a vehicle in order to reach this place. I am not sure if there are any buses towards this place. When i visited this place, it was fully crowded. There is a fee for entering the children's park. For adults its 20 Rs and for children under 12 its 10 Rs. There are other activities also, you must pay an extra amount for each activity. There is a restaurant nearby. Washrooms are available within the park which is maintained well. Parking is not available within the park. On the approach road you can park cars. It's open till 9.30 pm i think.

Our students from Teddy Buddies School had a delightful and memorable Field Trip to Akkulam Children’s Park. The spacious grounds, engaging play structures, and natural surroundings offered the perfect setting for children to run around, explore, and enjoy themselves freely. The experience was not only fun-filled but also supported the development of their social skills and peer interactions. It was heartwarming to see the joy on their faces and the bonds they built through play. We’re grateful to those who maintain this beautiful park — it’s truly a wonderful space for children to learn and grow through play.
