Cherai Beach is one of the hottest destinations in Kerala. The beach is part of an array of beaches lining across the coast of Ernakulam district. Fort Kochi beach, vypin beach, kuzhippilly beach, cherai beach and munambam come back to back. The other end of this beach is serene and less crowded but it isn't safe to swim on that end. However, it rightly holds an ambedkar statue and some sculptures reminding us of the legend. The place is not bustling with people, however it has enough people doing photoshoots and things like that. Only area in cherai wherein we can take the car into the sand.
