What a beautiful spot!! O.M.G! Such scenic places are the true hidden gems of Kottayam district! I swear!
We Went here after a few people recommended it to me and it was a sight to see.. wow! The panoramic scenic beauty is an amazing sight and is very cosy! There's a tiny shop on top called " Rock garden cool and coffee bar " and the staff are super friendly, it's well stocked with a lot of snacks and drinks!! We couldn't go inside the temple as it was closed. You can go around and around tiny hidden spots inside the long grass and trees also where you can just sit and enjoy some shade and chat. Never knew about this place till recently! Apparently it's beautiful during sunset as well it seems, we went around 10.30 and it was very calm and not many people were around too.. it felt more like just the three of us.. People, if you are coming to Marmalla, Illickalkallu etc, THIS IS ANOTHER MUST...

The name of the rock is said to be a modified version of the original term Anchupara (five rocks). However, some say that the name owes its origin to the Ayyappa Temple here. This temple has four pillars which support a flat piece of rock that forms the roof. On one side of the rock is a cave that can accommodate over 15 people.
The sunset vies from Ayyampara hill is beautiful. Above all, the cool mountain breeze does wonders to your mind and body.
