Chekuthan Para, Cheriyam Hills — Attraction in Kerala

First of all, it is a private property but so far it hasn't prevented anyone from going up anytime. Technically you can take your bike to the top but the road can be a bit steep at times with very uneven trails. It will take some time to reach the top if you are walking , so be prepared to build up a sweat. But it will be more or less worth it once you reach the top where a grand view awaits. Preferably going before sunrise is better as it gets you an awesome view of the mountains covered in mist and gradual rising of the sun from the clouds although the evening also does not disappoint. Do visit if you're in the mind for some trekking or even some light offroading...

A top hill station in malappuram district. A beautiful place with a natural ambience. Police wireless station is there on the top of this area. Its best to visit in the early morning. So that we can see the whole area is covered with mist. We have to walk almost 2km to reach the top. Bikes can go to the top but the road was in bad condition. Its a offroad.
