Chembra mini S view point — Attraction in Kerala

Wayanad as a whole gives you a picturesque sight. Every hill top is a scenic view point. This one is one among them and there is nothing special here to be attributed as unique or exceptional from others. Most of the pictures posted here by the visitors are not pictures of this view point but a mix of different spots in Wayanad. Therefore, don't be misled. This is a spot about 6 km from Meppadi town and 1 km behind the Forest check point to Chembra peak. What you get here is a panoramic view of the valley below extending to Meppadi town. This is a narrow road stretch after the 2nd hairpin bend with little or no space for parking...

This is on the way to chembra trek point. It’s a small parking area, accommodate max 2 cars, but the view from here is just fantastic.

You can see the bright sunny sky on top of mountains and tea vegetation all around.

However, you need to buy tickets (₹24 to visit the chembra place and ₹90 per person to trek till top of the chembra peak)

Timing : you must buy trek ticket by 11.30am, the trek to and fro takes 4hours, so plan accordingly! By 12 noon they close all...
