Cheruppadi Mala and Mini Ooty viewpoints are two closely located picturesque sites of the Arimbra Hills, separated only by about 8 Km. Cheruppadi Mala view point is located on the north west whereas the Mini Ooty view point is along the south east. After about half an hour of travel from Karipur (Kozhikode Airport), via Puliyamparamba (around 11 Km in the South and South east direction), we reached this picturesque hairpin bend of Cheruppadi Mala. The small hill is popular for the striking beauty of foggy hills and the splendid views of the fresh water ponds, thus making this tourist attraction an eco-holiday destination of the District. The rare sight of the deep water-logged rocky ponds of varying sizes on either sides of the road is not a common one.
