It is a beautiful shrine built in the traditional Kerala style of architecture. The temple is situated at Guruvayoor in Thrissur, Kerala.

The temple is noted for its vibrant mural paintings on the outer walls of the main sanctum sanctorum. Episodes from the Mahabharata are beautifully depicted here.

Very good and pleasant place, A must visit in my list. The Ambience is top notch and the peacefulness it offers is great. The lord Shiva was decorated very beautifully and it was very eye pleasing to see him. The place is well maintained and it is maintained very clean ( Period ). The only con is that the road to get there is really bumpy and not very comfortable. I would definitely recommend going there...
