Eliyambra Hills Velimanna — Attraction in Kerala

1/11/2019: Hill top give you a 360degree view. Better to visit here in rainy and winter season. Major attractions: Sunset, sunrise, fog at early morning, thamarassery churam view(better in night), kozhikode nit, top flat spacious surface give an advantage for tent camping and more. We two people stayed there in a tent at night and it was an unforgettable experience. How to reach: Take left from puthoor junction when you are from koduvalli side, take right from puthoor junction when you are from omassery side. After two kilometers there is a mosque named Velimanna juma masjid, then go straight to velimanna for 250 meters. You can see a electric post on left side(post number OMY PV109). Take concrete road on your right side and road will end after 200 meter in front of a temple. Park your vehicle their and reach the top by walking only. Restrictions: Nearby residents are not allowing the tourists to camp there in night time because some fellows are using indigenous drugs there. So kindly refuse drugs while climbing this hilltop. Otherwise the nearby residents will block the permit to climb the hilltop. NB: Avoid google map by setting eliyambra hills. This may lead you to unnecessary route.
