- Visiting Irachipara Waterfalls Located almost 3kms interior from the Marayoor-Kanthaloor main road, Irachipara Waterfalls is a breathtaking destination that requires some effort to reach. Here's what you need to know before planning your visit: - Getting There Irachipara Waterfalls is almost 3kms interior from the Marayoor-Kanthaloor main road. Usually this is covered during the Jeep Safari. If you are planning to drive by your own vehicle, I would recommend going by an SUV or any off-road vehicle, as the interior road is well-built but if it's a small car, the base of the car hits while going up and down on that road. - Driving Precautions Also, since it's a single lane, you'll need to be very careful while driving inside or coming out. My suggestion is to park the car on the main road and trek the narrow road reaching the falls. You will have a beautiful scenery of a wild river on the left and mountains on the right. - Experience You will have many photo points; this falls is unique as it showers gently from the top. - Facilities No toilet facilities. No dress change facilities. Free to visit. Limited parking in the narrow road. Limited wheelchair accessibility.

Irachil Para Water Falls is one of the important tourist attractions of Marayoor - Kanthaloor which is situated in Idukki District of Kerala. The falls is situated at 1 KM away from a small town called Kovilkadavu. The cement road from Kovilvadavu to Irachil Para Water Falls is very narrow and if you are going with elders, I suggest you to park your vehicle in Kovilkadavu and hire a auto rickshaw from local which are available easily. Else, you can also go by walk which will take upto 10-15 mins to reach the place. Reaching the place itself was a thrilling experience, with auto rickshaw traveling ups and downs. The view of the falls will blow your mind. It's not of a regular heavy waterfall like. It is like water drizzling from top. It is one of the best photo points in Kerala. I'm not sure if people are allowed to bath here. When we visited the falls, we were able to walk along the rocks and were able to stand between the falls and the rocks and took photos. The view of Pambar river from this falls was great. Avoid visiting the place in peak summer, as there will be no waterfall. If you are visiting Marayoor - Kanthaloor, don't miss this place.

Erachilpara waterfalls, also known as Irachipara waterfalls, are a beautiful waterfall located near Kovilkadavu on the way from Marayoor to Kanthalloor in the Idukki district of Kerala. It falls from a height of over 300 feet and attracts hundreds of tourists every day. It is about 1 km from Kovilkadavu on the way to Pongampalli. According to one review on Tripadvisor, the waterfall is very "worthy to visit" and the water is "damn cold. The reviewer also mentioned that standing under the waterfall is a little painful, though a very nice experience. Another review said that it is quite inside the village, and one has to travel less than 10 km from Paisnagar, Kanthallor, to this location.
