Kalladanthy Natural Cave Munnar — Attraction in Kerala

Good for some photos. Worth only for a 2-3 hours break. Platform on big rock and tree looks good. Walking through the cave and cycling through rope was also good.

Not prepared to handle a group. Totaly disappointed.

Management shall entertain groups for overnight stay only if they can provide basic facilities for that.

We a group of 40 people including 12 ladies went for trip with overnight stay in tents. At the time of booking they assured adequate facilities for ladies. But on reaching the spot, we could find that every thing is in preliminary stage, even the food, toilets, lights at night etc. etc. For tent stay they are providing just a tent and a polyform sheet for bedding. No blankets and not even pillows are provided. After breakfast it was informed that, there is a stream available in 15-20 mins walking distance, but it turned out to be 5kms walk. Pleasure trip turned out to be a torturing trip. Adventurous activities include just a 15 mins walk through cave and cycling...

This was indeed fun!! If you’re with a group go crazy folks then you will able to enjoy it to the core, suggested timeline of 45 - 60min should suffix for exploring this entire place.

Things to Do : Bicycling over rope worth Rs 200 is to test your acumen over fear of height. Safe enough to though the entire set up is bit rusted and Old! Again that add to the fuel of testing your fears 🙂

Show stealer is the Cave, Nicely done entrance builds up curiosity and you definitely need a good guide to sail it across. Do carry torch or some light source a site pitch dark inside, Proper footwear as it’s slippery and few pockets with green Ayer depth up to your thighs. Watch out for hell lot of bats 🦇.

Tip : Show or flash light ahead so that bat’s could settle down and then move ahead, Else chances of you - bat collision is high.

The Cave journey...

we got this place while going from our hotel to the city as the construction was going on in the road to the city so we have diverted our route and went from different route as suggested by one person. This place is kinda fun park kind, you can enjoy the rope cycling sport and there is one cave which you can visit. But if you go with the whole package of the park it will cost u more which is not worth of the money i guess so better try the rope cycling it will be very new experience for you.
