Sure, here is some information about Kanthalloor Waterfalls. Kanthalloor Waterfalls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. It was a beautiful waterfall.we used jeep to visit this place and we paid 1000 rupees to reach the water falls., the big plus point is that very few people know of it , the water is very neat ,also there is no sign marks to show the way and also there is no entrance fees.If you wanna to see the beauty of nature and feel the music of water..go to the top,you will enjoy it.The rainy season is good to catch these movement and the best time is in between 8am to 2pm(if you are planing to go to top end with families!!).once again It's very amazing and beautiful. There are wild animals that are rarely seen. Good and adventure natural beauty place in forest.I really hope that this place turns around because once again, the potential is enormous.

The falls is awesome. Worth travelling half an hour from Marayoor. Rs 50 being collected at enroute and a cotton bag is given to put trash in it and return it back while coming. But some people throw their trashes there. Not recommended for elderly people. Need to walk down a while to reach the falls. Else Jeep can be taken. But it is too costly. Only Jeeps could reach nearby to falls else to walk down. Falls is awesome with chill and clear water. Not much parking space is available. So don't try on rush days. And mainly Jeep Ride for 10 spots at Rs 4500 per jeep. But you could cover only 2-3 spots which includes this falls also. So be cautious about it.

Nice ambience and good trekking have to walk 1 km to reach the destination Kanthalloor Waterfalls situated in the Kanthalloor village of Idukki district. This waterfall drops from a height of 20 meters. You can take a bath in the pool below if you are alright with the temperature of the water. There is a short downhill that you have to take in order to reach the falls from the road, for about 500 meters. It is a narrow path filled with boulders and mud. Best time to visit Kanthallor waterfall is during monsoon season as you can see the waterfall at its fullest. It is also not advisable to be here after 5pm as the area surrounding the falls is grazing land for wild buffalos. With its sprawling tea estates, rolling hills, waterfalls, picture – postcard hamlets, Kanthalloor has the makings of an idyllic holiday destination. Nestled in the eastern side of the charming Western Ghats, in Idukki district of Kerala State, it is 180 kms from Ernakulam, 60 kms from Udumalpettai, 14 km from Marayoor and 57 kms from Munnar( the major hillstation in Kerala). It is on the border of Kerala and Tamilnadu placed between...

Never trust the social media influencer, you might end up hurting yourself. Google map suggested that the waterfalls was 350m walking..we parked our private vehicle and started walking only to realise that we climbing down the mountain 350m with no pathways but just rocks here and there.very very very dangerous pathway ,it had no safety measures,no security guard,no forest officers or police . Waterfalls was totally disappointment, again no rope,no safety measures.the rocks were so slippery, many of them slipped in waterfalls and had minor injuries(good god!).some of the men had to help us get out of that place without slipping away. we chose not climb the mountain on the way up so we opted for Jeep .Jeep people charged us rs 1000 and the pathway way again very very steep and dangerous.

Please think twice before you chose to go with elderly persons and...
