Itās just been 15 days in Kerala & thereās so much untouched beauty here. Yesterday we went to Marmala Waterfall, itās a 45 min drive from main Vagamon market. Just before reaching the waterfall youāll cross huge plantation of rubber and pineapple š on the way. Itās not very suggested to visit and play around the place during monsoon season, so be careful if youāre visiting in this time. Water flow is really high and everything is way more slippery than normal. But you have to visit this, itās a beautiful experience. #vagamon #kerala #waterfall #reelkrofeelkro #reelsinstagram

Marmala waterfalls (Erattupetta, Kottayam, Kerala. Marmala Waterfall is a waterfall which is located a few kilometres away from Erattupetta, in Kottayam district, Kerala. It is exactly 8 km from Teekoy n is en-route Vagamon, a slight deviation only. Marmala waterfall is about 40 meter in height, plunging into a 12-meter deep pool and feeds the River Teekoy. The water was less at this time of the year and we could go upstream to the main fall through the rocks itself. But dat would be highly dangerous during monsoon months. Amazing fallššš Marmala waterfall is one of the top place to visit in Kottayam. The waterfall merges with the Meenachil River about 60 meters in height, falling into a 12-meter deep pool. Marmala is a celebration for your senses, supported by Mother Nature. The majesty of the waterfalls is the first thing you notice, but even more enjoyable is the exciting adventure to reach the waterfalls. Jeeps ride through the small trodden paths or you can stroll through the picturesque streets. Amazing experience. I think many dont know that there is a beautiful waterfall like this on the way to vagamon. Really good for family. Nice place to have a good bath. This is the best place for picnic for the teenagers. And we have to see the real beauty of nature on there. The marmala waterfall is very familiar and good time is April may months because of less waterfall on there so we have less risky..this is the origin of meenachail river. One need to trek through private estate to reach this waterfall. The ambience around this waterfall is awesome. On the way to vagamon, there is a clear signboard showing Marmala waterfalls. But the 7 kms from the highway to the falls are just horrible. It's completely broken (hopefully under construction) and narrow. The water is nice and good for swimming. If you are going on a weekend or a holiday, expect crowd, which makes it a bit inconvenient. This is less known hidden treasure. This is located on the way to illikkal kallu. It is a small water fall. The travel toi this place is bit offroad and you have to walk little bit. less crowded. and calm and silent place
