Musical Dancing Fountain Manissery, Ottapalam — Attraction in Kerala

As such experience is new to Ottappalam and it's nearby areas, the idea is really appreciatable.

Please don't expect a high level setup out there like in Wonderla or near in Burj Khalifa. This is in small village of Kerala. So the area covered also gives preference to such peoples. Thanks to the team for making this project accessible to all level of people.

Entry fee. Just 30 INR per person. (not required for below 10 years of age)

No parking fee now a days. May be it will get changed later. There is space around 15 to 20 cars in the near by premise. And we can park around 20 bikes there. Parking not allowed in the roads as all the roads quite small.

You will get the entry tickets in the gates. Just go and get seated if the show time is near. Or you can go and see the fish in the pond or the paddy fields nearby. You can get down to the pond to wash your hand and face. If you wish, give a bath.

Seats are just normal one's. And they will fill extra chairs if overcrowded.

Show is an entertaining one. In my visit, show started at 7.10 pm. It lasted upto 7.30 pm. Nice songs started with devotional one. Followed by Malayalam , Tamil, Hindi and English songs.

Cafeteria: Have a small shop where we can find ice creams, coffee, tea. Better to buy some snacks from the shops in the highway before you go there.

Washroom: have just one toilet for both men and women. So have to wait for your turn little. Neat and clean as it's new.

Very park place to hang out evening Amazed to see a park like this in ottapalam area.

Pros Very safe and good quality materials used. Very kid friendly objects. Entry fees is affordable. It include the musical fountain show also. Large water body present fishing is available and you can buy fresh fish also. Staff support is good. This is not much a crowded area till now so we can have a quality time there. Tea shop is present inside the area and rate is very reasonable also. Morning times we can book for small functions.

Cons Little interio location is little difficult to reach. Road is not much big and path needs improvement. Parking space is very limited. For this crowd its ok but need improvement. Parking lot is little neglected one security gurad should be posted esp in late night times. Equipments need some more variety items. Musical show is good for kids they will enjoy but for adults after 5 min its boring.

Edit 02 07 2023 Today went for the second time. Very nice place. Quality kept as the same. We didn't wait for the music show. One thing they didn't highlight is fish feeding. You can get some popcorn from the shop inside and feed fishes in the common pond. Very large fishes are there. Children will be thrilled to see.

The Musical Dancing Fountain near Manuseri is a must visit week end family entertainment park especially for kids. The place gives a lovely and amazing experience.. ..of dancing musical fountain...patterns, colors and music. We met the enterpreneur Mr Sukumaran and had spent a long chat to understand his passion to give it back to his native village. A lot of hardwork and imagination was put in to create this beautiful weekend family time spending park. There a Singapore icon - a white Merlion recreated ..overlooking the pond..the water body just adjacent to fountain park. The owner Sukumaran braved the Lockdown times of Covid-19 pandemic and the park is NOW reopened. Although we visited onna weekday, Sukumaran was courteous enough to run a mini Dancing Fountain show for us. We thoroughly enjoyed. We encourage everyone visiting Palakkad/Ottapalam area, to plan a week end evening at this place..There will be a snack and ice cream shop..that opens during week end only. The place is clean and hygiene measures are followed. Ample car parking place available. We wish this place s very good business success. We may visit this place again in future. Those visiting Varikkassery Mana..should stop by here and...
