Palukachippara is a beautiful view point located at Sivapuram near Mattannur in Kannur district. You can reach this place on foot or off-road from Sivapuram.On the road from Sivapuram to Malur, you can park your car below it. You have to climb about 1km up the hill to reach here.If not, you can also take bikes and off-road vehicles here. The road for this is on the Sivapuram - Thillenkeri route.No ticket is required to enter this place. Similarly, there are no security systems. So go there only at your own risk. However, if you climb this forest and hill, a beautiful view awaits you. The view of the place is breathtaking during the foggy times. Therefore, it is advisable to reach there early in the morning (before 7 am) when it is snowing.Remember one thing. Many people who go there are polluting the place with plastic bottles and covers. It is not advisable to visit this place during rains, as water flows down strongly from the mountains. The panchayats Thillankeri, Muzhakkunnu and Peravoor lie close to Puralimala.
