This is near the Kappil beach and it's an estuary. The part of lake near the beach is being used by people for bathing, swimming and playing cuz this area is shallow ( please-- only people who know swimming enter here, it would be unsafe if you guys don't know how to swim). There's boating available here, also a park mostly suitable for kids. People nearby used to catch fish from the lake and sell it.
