Very silent environment and greenish, always the height of water is full, the road to the dam was awesome, had a great experience, its part of peechi reserve forest, more than 100 ft tall trees will give nature lovers goosebumps. There is a watch tower inside dam, its actually not a watch tower but looks like, when you see from there you can see 50% of the dam and entire view of Park beside the dam. Really park is well maintained. Very large park. There Will be a boat but no boating facilities are there, its for private purposes i think so. There is nothing more to do there, those who want a relaxing environment surroundings its best for it. Parking facilities are there. Tickets are very low....

Important and pathetic side is that most of the time it remains closed. The authorities showing mere interest to entertain people to visit the place and promote the place.
We entered the place with the special permission from some forest ranger in charge. We were the team of three accompanied by a guide provided by forest department. He is nice enough for us as he speaks Malayalam (the local language) but not sure that if you couldn't understand Malayalam you will get an English speaking (or any other language)...
