Pinnacle ViewPoint is a small hill station viewpoint near Punalur Kollam district Kerala. From Punalur city around 10km to Pinnacle View Point and from Kollam city around 45km to Pinnacle View Point. For a one day trip with family its a good option. Pinnacle View Point is known as Ooty of poor people. The place is an awesome viewpoint during the sunrise. People planning to go there should reach there before the sunrise and should also see the point in the dark it looks awesome with fog and little lights coming from houses and all. You should see the sunlight coming and enjoy the transition. After the sunrise, there isn't much to see. Make a trip soon...

Please donot waste your time like we did. It was infact a nice view point. The owner of the land below the view point has planted rubber trees which have grown fully now and are covering the entire view. There is no way to see past the trees. You can mildly see the beautiful fog and mountains through the small gaps. The person who did this should be shamed of himself. Even Govt direction boards are there to the view point. All a waste of time and money due to this idiotic action. If you are already there while reading this review, go to Malamel view point.
