Everyone says this place is more beautiful around sunrise. But i always love visiting here during late nights, preferably with a clear sky filled with sparkling stars all around. The night view is mesmerizing and it's surely one hell of an experience. But there is risk also. This place is more darker than you imagine and may find snakes and other animals around you. You will be all alone in the dark if something bad happens- But all Mobiles have network here. Those who love to sync with nature all alone, can definitely enjoy the stars above and below. It's mostly windy and chilly up there in nights.

If you are a traveller, trying to explore new places then this will be a nice one time visit destination. Nothing more to see here apart from views at sunrise and sunset. Based on the climate the views will vary. Best time to visit will be from November to March (mist and fog, Gentle breeze). Will be a nice spot to camp ( Don't know if it's allowed now ) with friends and having a dinner night. Cons - Hilly area, Narrow and unmaintained road (Noticed from my last visit) , Chances of Pebbles causing Bikes getting slipped upon descending.

Situated in the Kannur district at 3000 ft above sea level, it is an enchanting hill station enriched with wide varieties of flora and fauna. The place offers a magnificent view of the Thalassery town and a mesmerising blue portrait of the Arabian Sea from atop.we can drive our car to the view point Easley accessible. Monsoon is the best time to visit puralimala view point

Puralimala View Point is situated in the Kannur district at 3000 ft above sea level, it is an enchanting hill station enriched with wide varieties of flora and fauna. The place offers a magnificent view of the Thalassery town and a mesmerizing blue portrait of the Arabian Sea from atop. It's a good view point you can feel the beauty of nature if you visit this place in early morning and evening. Puralimala is a land where every grain of sand is sodden with the memories of numerous sagas, historical movements and scenic beauty. History says that the King Pazhassi Raja’s first revolutionary battle against the British took place here. It is here that Pazhassi stayed with the Kurichyar community to hide from the British. This hill station has many legendary tales to narrate. According to mythology the deity of Parassinikadavu reached Parassinikadavu Temple from Kunnathurpadi via Puralimala. It is also believed that Puralimala is formed by a part of maruthwamala that is believed to have fallen from the hands of Lord Hanuman while taking it to Lanka as mentioned in the...
