Thaickal Beach situated  near the pilgrimage spot ARTHUNKAL at Alleppey district. A visit to this beach gives you  a very refreshing experience.  In Thaickal you can experience almost untouched peaceful beauty of a beach. Arthunkal is famous for the St. Andrews Forane Church which was built in 1581. Visiting this place has the advantage in both ways, a pilgrimage and visit to a calm, beautiful village in the seashore in Kerala. This part of the beach is highly active, with the sea always full of fishing vessels.  The fishermen use their traditional country boats made of wood. This is a view worth watching. Malayalam is the language used by the local people here.. The place is quite calm and refreshing with the slight cold wind that passes by touching our skin and body that makes us feel refreshed and tension free. This place is the best option for mind refreshement..The place is so silent and is filled with full of greenery. The coconut trees that surround the beach adds beauty to it ..

Good for sunest views, a quiet and calm beach. There will not be much visitors since reaching the main spot of the beach might be a bit hassle. Thaickal beach which is pinned on map dosen't have much to explore other than small pulimutts (stones paved into sea to break the waves). For a good view and for a long beach, you need go bit further to south from the actual pinned location. Main attraction is the long pulimutts, which might be about half Kms in length. Travel towards south for about one Km and there are small roads to the beach side, it will be better to confirm the way with locals before entering a road. Not sure about, whether cars can go near the beach, since the path is narrow and some part is offroad (there might be some alternate roads). The road is narrow and the parking might be an issue. Have posted some videos of the roads as well.

It's a lovely beautiful sandy beach with small rock bridges on either side! The beach has some coconut trees which give some relaxation, especially in the afternoon while all are looking for some shade! The beach is situated approximately 5KM from Cherthala and 8KM from Andhakaranazhi and 3KM from Arthunkal! I belong to Thaickal beachside! But this is not the exact location, seems like this is Ayiramthai beach! If anybody feels the same opinion, please request an edit!

Thaickal Beach is a hidden gem located in the serene coastal town of Cherthala. The beach offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy nature. The soft golden sand, gentle waves, and the calming sound of the sea make it an ideal spot for a quiet walk, a picnic, or simply to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Kerala’s coastline.

The beach is clean and less crowded compared to other popular beaches in the region, which adds to its charm. The sunset views here are breathtaking, making it a perfect place for photography and evening strolls.

If you’re looking for a tranquil beach experience away from the hustle and bustle, Thaickal Beach is highly...
