Thommankuth Waterfalls

Sooper cool heavily stress releaseable enjoyable place.

One of the best places i have visited ever.. Its not the waterfall.. Its the beauty of nature and soroundings you will love more.. If you want to see a heavy waterfall dont visit here. I strictly dont  recommend this place for waterfalls,But visiting thia place and spending one day here is worth it.No doubt.

Best place for family to explore.. There are guards and volunteers all around for any help.. You can bath, swim and can have group lunch and all.. This place is maintained by eco tourism dept. So you have to pay  RS. 30  per head to enter inside and if you are carrying camera Rs. 50 for still camera and for video camera seperate charges are there.

Some local shops and hotels are there nearby. So no need to worry about food. Parking facility is not that good.. You have to park your car or bike at the road side only..

You wont feel like you are trekking to heights even if its lil higer than sea level.. Coz the walking area is soo straight and anybidy can easily walk and enjoy the beauty of dens forest and sounds of birds. Entering in to the river when its rainy season and river is full of water is prohibited.you will see a lot of warning boards about entering in to the river.. The best thing is even if its sunny and mid noon time you will feel lil cool under the big trees.natural Air conditioning.. 😍

Off course its a best place for photography lovers too. You may see varieties of birds and butterflies there if you are lucky enough to see them 😜

Liquors, and smoking are strictly prohibited inside area. Guards will check your baggages before letting you to  enter in to the forest.

Family, friends and couple...

A day well spent. Have been here around 10 years back as well The place is good for a nature walk on the shore of the Kaliyar river. It is just similar to Paniyeli Poru plus a waterfall. The walk is kind of small trek. Old age people would find the walk difficult due to the un even rocks and slippery if it's rainy season. The path has lot of silk worms hanging from the trees and on the rails make sure you won't touch it. If you are going with kids be double careful.
