Also known as Bhadrakali temple this is situated on the southern bank of Thootha ( Kunthi) puzha having perennial and pure water flow. It is believed that a brahmin lady who was taking bath in the river saw a floating vessel(kudam) with milk is coming down. She catched it and placed it on the riverbank. After bath she tried to take the kudom but in vain. A temple was constructed there. It is also believed differently as the lady was not a brahmin and she was a member of veettikkattu nair family.
