Trichambaram Sreekrishna Temple, located in Taliparamba, Kannur, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Known for its serene ambiance and historical significance, the temple is a must-visit for devotees and tourists alike. The temple is renowned for its annual festival, which takes place in the Malayalam months of Kumbham and Meenam (March). The festival lasts for fourteen days, starting with the ceremonial flag hoisting (Kodiyettam) and concluding with the Koodipiriyal ritual. The Thidampu Nritham, a traditional dance performed in front of the temple, is a highlight of the festivities.

Trichambaram Sreekrishna Temple during the annual festival, and it was a mesmerizing experience. The temple's architecture is stunning, and the murals are a visual treat. The Thidampu Nritham dance performance was captivating and added to the spiritual ambiance. The temple staff were courteous and ensured that all rituals were performed smoothly. I highly recommend visiting this temple to anyone seeking a serene and spiritually enriching experience.

There is no requirement for a review. When you come to this location, you were able to get a sense of what it is. The atmosphere here is quite meditative and peaceful. Lord Krishna worshippers have made this location famous throughout the ages. If you want to get close to the primary idol, which is Krishna, you have to wear a dhoti or a saree. The dress code is really strict. The most important deity of the temple is Krishna seated in the Raudra mudra following the "Kamsavadham" ceremony (ferocious posture). Due to the fact that it is situated to the north of Guruvayoor Temple, this temple is also known as North Guruvayoor. This temple is located close to three different ponds. We were able to spot the Jala Durga temple not far from this one. The river completely encircles the...

Famously known as Trichambaram temple, this Sree Krishna Temple in the Kannur area of Kerala is the place where you can see Lord Krishna in Raudra Bhavam (ferocious posture]. It houses selective paintings and carvings that date back to the fifteenth and sixteenth hundreds of years CE.

The yearly celebration of the sanctuary falls in the Malayalam long periods of Kumbham and Meenam (March) and it goes on for fourteen days. The celebration starts, on Kumbham 22nd with the stylized banner lifting (kodiyettam) and arrives at end with Koodipirial custom on sixth Meenam. The celebration days are set apart by the exhibition of the custom craft of Thidampu nritham before the sanctuary.
