Vagamon Paragliding — Attraction in Kerala

I recently went paragliding at Vagamon and it was an absolutely thrilling experience to say the least! From the start, my instructor Hari was incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. The entire flight lasted about 15 minutes, taking us over the stunning mountains of Vagamon, with views of waterfalls, lush tea estates and serene ponds where cows were peacefully grazing nearby.

Hari even added a dash of excitement by showing off some tricks, going criss-cross and even flipping us upside down to get that extra adrenaline rush! The combination of breathtaking views and the exhilarating maneuvers made this an unforgettable adventure. The cost came to 4k / head and extra 500 for video. The location is awesome, worth visiting the place, but it would have been nice to know the price in advance. I was not expecting the cost to be Rs.4500 for paragliding once.

Wonderful Experience, Everyone should go atleast once. superb view,there is a small shop where you can buy some snacks and cool drinks..nearby there is a watch tower ..in total nice experience but when you hear any thunder or lightning sound just leave that place ...it's lightning prone area and immediately the center will be closed as per weather conditions Security outside not doing his job. We are keeping car in a place and later he is coming and speaking in impolite way. He should be there to guide us. Owners trusting the security person but he is not...

Before going paragliding at Vangamon, make sure to check the weather report. If the wind direction is only coming from two sides, then paragliding will be allowed; otherwise, it will be stopped. The conditions depend heavily on nature, and luck plays a big role in flying. Also, weight is important, as the range is from 30 to 100 kg, and it’s only for adults. Based on my experience, I had to wait for two days to glide. The first day was full of mist, and the second day, the wind didn’t flow in two directions. Unfortunately, my luck wasn’t on my side those two days.
