The veeranpuzha, bathed in the ethereal hues of a breathtaking sunrise, offers a mesmerizing tableau of nature's grandeur. As the first light of dawn caresses the rippling waters, a symphony of colors unfolds, painting the sky with delicate shades of pink, orange, and gold. The river, a liquid mirror, reflects this celestial spectacle, creating a seamless merger of earth and sky. The air is imbued with a gentle warmth, carrying the fragrance of blooming flowers and the earthy scent of damp soil. Silhouettes of trees stand tall against the emerging light, their branches adorned with dew-kissed leaves that glisten like diamonds. The soft whispers of the morning breeze add a melodic undertone to the scene, a gentle accompaniment to the chorus of waking birds that fill the air with their jubilant songs. The river's current, a rhythmic dance, flows gracefully, embracing the riverbank in a serene embrace. As the sun ascends, its golden rays reach across the landscape, casting long shadows that gradually retreat with the advancing day. The play of light and shadow creates a dynamic tapestry, unveiling hidden details and transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. On the riverbank, the world seems to pause, inviting contemplation and appreciation for the timeless beauty of this riverside sanctuary at sunrise.

Scenic spot which is just 30-45 mins from the heart of the kochi city. We got lucky to see the most beautiful sunset that day, it was so eye capturing that I totally forgot to capture it in my camera. We made a short ferry ride too just to extend our time of stay at that place and enjoy the nature. Kochites should never miss this location.

The best place away from the crowded city. These are small lakes and islands. A collection of so many lakes.... You will find lakhs of birds. Viz. Ducks, storks, cranes, etc. In these lakes looking for fish. It is so serene with so many huts built on the pathways of these islands and lakes.

The Veeranpuzha Beach is a typical Malabar coastline with quaint waters, fishermen settlements and sandy shores. Time stands still here as you gaze into the sunset, sipping refreshing coconut water. This is an ideal place to just laze around. This is also a fishing village, and a walk around will allow you to have a closer look at their lifestyle. Life goes on slow here and is a peaceful retreat from the hustle-bustle of life. There is no entry fee and it’s...
